DESCRIPTION
The apartment which is located in a block of flats of 70’s, close to the new Acropolis Museum, was renovated in order to be rented through the Airbnb platform. The layout of the apartment was maintained, while the kitchen and the bathroom were modernized with pale shades of beige. The mosaic flooring was retained as a typical example of the construction practices of the era, giving a retro mood to the renewed apartment, while the wooden floors are combined harmoniously. The old wooden window frames were replaced with aluminium frames in order to reduce heat loss and increase sound insulation. A cosy atmosphere prevails in the apartment and makes a pleasant place to live.
